IT and managed service providers

Software for IT and managed service providers

Tickets, projects and contracts that all know about the same client.

An MSP runs two businesses at once: recurring managed services and one-off projects. Perspectiv keeps the client’s contract, their tickets, their projects and their invoices on one record, so your team always has the full picture of the client in front of them.

Why MSPs outgrow their tools

Many IT services firms run a ticketing tool, a separate project tool, a billing system and a wiki. Contract terms live in one place, the service levels in another, and the hours spent on a client are spread across all of them. Answering “is this client profitable?” means exporting from three systems.

Perspectiv connects the service desk, projects, contracts and finance through the client record, so tickets and projects both belong to the same client and contract.

How Perspectiv fits an MSP

Service desk

Handle incidents, service requests, problems and changes, with response and resolution targets, service calendars and warnings before a target is breached. In a later phase, clients will also see the status of their own tickets in the customer support portal.

Contracts and recurring billing

Keep master agreements and statements of work together, with renewals and recurring billing so nothing lapses or goes unbilled. Managed-services schedules follow in a later phase.

Projects

Run onboarding, migrations and upgrade projects with tasks, milestones, change requests and timesheets, all linked to the same client.

Knowledge

Write runbooks and how-to guides once, then publish them to your team on the intranet or to clients on a branded help center.
