Quote to cash, without the re-typing

From the first conversation to the payment, one record.

Quote to cash is everything between a promising conversation and the money arriving. In most firms it crosses four or five tools. In Perspectiv it stays on one record, so the rate you quoted is the rate you bill.

The steps

  1. An opportunity in the CRM, in a pipeline you define
  2. A quote or services estimate from your own rate card
  3. A signed contract or statement of work
  4. A project set up from the agreed scope and rates
  5. Approved time, expenses and milestones
  6. An invoice from what was agreed and delivered
  7. Payment matched to the invoice
  8. Margin reported against the original quote

Where it usually breaks

The hand-offs. The rate agreed in the proposal is typed again into the project tool, then again into the invoice. A change in scope reaches the contract but not the billing. By the time finance sends the invoice, nobody is sure which version of the deal it should match.

How Perspectiv connects it

Each step creates the next from the same data. A won opportunity becomes a quote, the quote becomes a contract, and the contract sets up the project with its budget and rates. Approved time and milestones become invoice lines, and payments land against those invoices.

  • Rates and discounts carry from the quote to every invoice
  • Change orders update the contract, the budget and what can be billed
  • Everyone sees the same client, from the first call to the last payment
  • Margin compares what was sold with what it cost to deliver

Questions

Do we need every module to run quote to cash?

No. Start with CRM in the beta and add the rest as they are ready. Each module joins the same record, so nothing has to be migrated twice.

Can we bill time and materials, fixed fees and milestones?

Yes. The contract decides how each piece of work is billed, and invoices are built from approved time, milestones or fixed fees.

When can we use this?

The private beta opens in Q2 2027 with Knowledge hub and CRM, with the framework underneath. The other modules in this process join as they are ready, and each one plugs into the same record.
