Fee burn, phase by phase
A design or engineering fee is usually agreed per phase. The risk is that one phase quietly eats the budget of the next, and nobody notices until the project is already over. When contracts, timesheets and accounting live in different tools, that is hard to see in time.
Perspectiv structures each project by phase and keeps the planned effort and cost next to the actual hours as they are approved, so project managers can see fee burn while it can still be managed.
How Perspectiv fits an AEC firm
Winning work
Track opportunities and proposals in the CRM, then turn a win into a contract and a project without re-typing the client, the fees or the scope.
Contracts and change
Keep the agreement, its amendments and additional services together, with change requests and baselines on the project so you can show what changed and why.
People and certifications
Record skills, professional certifications and their renewal dates on each person, and staff projects by who is qualified and available.
Subconsultants
Manage subconsultants as suppliers, with purchase orders, supplier invoices, and insurance and compliance dates tracked.

Questions
Can we structure projects by phase?
Yes. Projects have phases, tasks, milestones and deliverables, with planned effort and cost for each piece of work and baselines to compare plan against actual.
Can we track professional certifications and their expiry?
Yes. People records hold certifications with dates, and the planned learning management module tracks renewals and assigned training.
Can we manage subconsultants?
Yes. The planned procurement module covers subcontractors, purchase orders, supplier invoices, and insurance and compliance date tracking.
When can we start?
The private beta opens in Q2 2027 with Knowledge hub (intranet and published documentation) and CRM, with the framework underneath. Projects and Finance join as they are ready.
