Software for consulting and advisory firms

From the first conversation to the final invoice, one connected record.

A consulting firm sells the time and expertise of its people. Perspectiv keeps the client, the statement of work, the team, their hours and the invoice on one record, so you can see utilization and margin without rebuilding them in a spreadsheet every month.

The problem with running a consultancy on separate tools

Most firms start with a CRM for sales, a project tool for delivery, a timesheet app, an accounting package and a shared drive for statements of work. Each tool works on its own. The trouble is in between: the rate agreed in the proposal is re-typed into the timesheet tool, the hours are exported to accounting, and nobody can say whether an engagement is profitable until weeks after it ends.

Perspectiv puts those steps on one record. The client, the opportunity, the statement of work, the people booked on it, their approved hours and the resulting invoice all link together, so the numbers line up without manual reconciliation.

What changes day to day

Selling

Track every company, contact and conversation in the CRM, move opportunities through pipelines you define, and build proposals from your own rate card. When a deal is won, the client and the agreed rates carry straight into the engagement.

Staffing

See who is available, what skills and certifications they hold and how much of their time is already committed. Book people firmly or tentatively, spot overallocation before it happens, and see unstaffed demand across the firm.

Delivering and billing

Consultants log time and expenses against the engagement. Managers approve them, and approved time flows to invoicing at the agreed rates, whether the engagement is time and materials, milestones or a fixed fee.

Knowing how the firm is doing

Because sales, delivery and finance share the same record, utilization and margin come from the same data the team already enters. Reports drill down from a total to the timesheets behind it.

Questions

Is Perspectiv a PSA or an ERP?

Both. Perspectiv covers what a PSA does (projects, resources, time and billing) and what an ERP does (accounting, purchasing and people), on one shared record of your clients, projects and people.

Can we use our own rates by role and by client?

Yes. The catalog holds hourly and daily rates by role and client-specific pricing, and quotes, contracts and invoices all use the same rates.

Can partners and consultants in different countries work on the same engagement?

Yes. Perspectiv supports multiple legal entities and currencies, and legal entity groups let people work on projects across the entities in a group while each entity keeps its own books.

When can we start?

The private beta opens in Q2 2027 with Knowledge hub (intranet and published documentation) and CRM, with the framework underneath. Projects and Finance join as they are ready.
